Sexual Assault and People with Disabilitiesedit
After years of neglect, societal concern has begun to focus on sexual assault and people with disabilities. This review examines relevant factors, including vulnerability, impact of sexual victimization, assistance needs, and recovery. Individual service plans should always include risk assessments and security plans to promote risk reduction.
