Effects of a prior authorization policy for extended-release/long-acting opioids on utilization and outcomes in a state Medicaid program

This study aimed to examine effects of a prior authorization policy for extended-release/long-acting (ER/LA) opioids on opioid use in the Oklahoma, USA state Medicaid program.
